Most of the conditions that spinal decompression effects are due to compression of the nerves and structures of the spine.

How Does Spinal Decompression Therapy work?
There are two main types of spinal decompression: cervical decompression for the neck and lumbar decompression for the low back. Both types have been shown to be highly effective in treating spinal issues and improving overall spinal health.
During a spinal decompression session, the patient lies comfortably on a specialized decompression table. The patient is then strapped into a harness that wraps around your lower back and your chiropractor will set up a computer -controlled treatment protocol. Our chiropractors will utilize the table to apply traction to the spine, creating negative pressure within the discs. This negative pressure helps retract bulging or herniated discs, relieving nerve compression. This pressure also pulls water, oxygen, and other nutrients to promote healing in the affected tissues. This treatment can reduce pain and inflammation, improve mobility, and enhance patients’ quality of life.
